 Living Faith, Seeking Justice - Nov. 1-4, 2007
The General Board of Church and Society invites you to join with fellow United Methodists in Fort Worth, Texas, on Nov. 1-4, 2007 for four enriching days of transformational learning, preaching, collaboration and community building. This will be a special time for God to enrich the soil so that our work for a more just, equitable and peaceful world can thrive.
As people of faith, we are called not only to serve the immediate needs of others but to be disciples of Christ committed to transforming the world. Scripture calls on us to end hunger and homelessness, to set prisoners free – prisoners of addiction, prisoners of poverty, prisoners of violence. (more)
